NUMINBAH VALLEY, GOLD COAST

An exciting yet hilly 15km and 25km trail running event held in the beautiful Numinbah Valley on Queensland’s Gold Coast. The race also doubles as Round 1 of the Triple Crown Trail Series!

In the Raw also hosts the final round of Flirt with Dirt series; introducing our rising stars and newbies to a true trail experience.

In the Raw has a fun course, at a great venue, with terrific on course camaraderie to boot. Not too be missed; it can be the perfect end to the short-course season or a dream start for the longer stuff ahead!

THE CUT “ULTRA”

Gold Coast Crit Track, Nerang

The ultra-marathon for those who have no interest in running an ultra! ‘The Cut’ is a unique event. There’s no set distance; anyone with a heartbeat and a pair of running shoes can run. It’s not a ‘Last One Standing’ event either; the minimum distance is 10.5km but the maximum distance is 50km - you know you’re finishing that day!! And as long as you can run 1.5km in 15 minutes you'll be fine… for a while.

How does it work? The event takes place over a 1.5km loop course, we pause at the end of every lap and wait for everyone to cross the finish line. After 6 laps, we start cutting a few from the field. Once everyone is across the finish, we make any cuts, wait 20 seconds, line up again, and restart the race. Whittling the field down until only a handful remain for the final HOT LAP - a 500m dash for the title! It’s social, strategic and super fun - even when you’re done; an all-day running party!

CURRUMBIN VALLEY, GOLD COAST

A flat and fast start on the bitumen by beautiful Currumbin Creek belies the testing trails that await runners on the Border Track! The stunning Currumbin Valley is an idyllic setting but the undulating trails test even the best!

With no less than 4 race distances to choose from; ranging from 6km & 13km, through to the 22km and 31km events form Triple Crown Round 2.

A great stand-alone run or ideal prep for Coastal High; just 4 weeks later. The Border Bolt showcases the beautiful Gold Coast hinterland, and starts and finishes by our world-famous beaches!

HALLOWEEN HUSTLE

NERANG FOREST, GOLD COAST

A run in a dark forest…. what a perfect way to enjoy Halloween! Get into the ‘spirit’ and get dressed up for a spooktacular night of running!

A fast and fun 2km in the twilight hours for the little ones before we dive into the dead of night with your choice of 5km or 11km. Each course has a mix of the hard stuff with the start and finish on the criterium circuit, some single trail and forest fire roads.

You’ll need a head torch for the later runs, with reflective signs and flagging tape to keep you on track… but beware what lurks in the forest…

Unique glow in the dark medals, themed race bibs and prizes the Mountain Goat Beer Garden, food trucks, activities for the kids and live music to keep all the monsters entertained! It’s scary how much fun you can have running at night!

COASTAL HIGH

GOLD COAST HINTERLAND

The Wild Earth Coastal High is an iconic trail running event traversing amazing trails in the World Heritage listed Springbrook and Lamington National Parks in Queensland's spectacular Gold Coast Hinterland.

Designed for the more experiences trail runner or runners with an adventurous spirit. The course is mainly single trail and show cases some stunning tracks around Binna Burra before heading to Springbrook via the stunning Numinbah Valley.

There's more to the Gold Coast than its world-famous beaches and with a 50km and 28km option nowadays; be part of the action!

SQUADRACE is brought to you by ON Running. This event is LOW on price and BIG on VALUE!

Teams of four (4), each running 5km each (and a Junior Mixed 4 x 2.5km division) with plenty of action!

Great prizes with Open Male, Female, Mixed and Junior Mixed divisions. Each runner is electronically timed and we will have a little goodie to give away from ON Running.

It’s friends and friendly rivalries, families, clubs and schools getting together! It’s engaging for fans & not all the fun happens on course!

EMERALD LAKES GOLF CLUB
TUESDAY DECEMBER 31, 2024

Get together with family and friends for a fun run (or walk) to celebrate your year, and enjoy the FREE Wild Earth Community Carnival.

Choose between 4, 8 and 12km options on a flat and fast course, with two junior races of 500m and 1km to boot as well as a 4k Pram Push; something to suit everyone! Run fast or just run for fun!

After the run or walk; relax, enjoy the live music and kids activities, take in the fireworks at the family friendly time of 7.30pm. There’ll be food trucks and a bar – ‘rehydrate’ and celebrate the last day of the year.
