The Wild Earth ‘Border Bolt’ is now a staple on the Gold Coast running calendar. To be held on Sunday August 2, runners will leave Currumbin Creek behind and head for the hills. Come join us for Race 2 in the Triple Crown or just enjoy the best of the Border Bolt!

About The Event
The Wild Earth ‘Border Bolt’ is a fan fave with record numbers in 2025; it's now the largest Triple Crown event. With its convenient location, stunning yet challenging hinterland hills and views and the constant camaraderie facilitated with the out & back format, it's become the run of choice for beginner trail runners and seasoned veterans!
The famed Border Trails do not disappoint, with their twists, turns, lumps and bumps lifting runners to gorgeous ocean views.
There are 4 distance offerings: 6.6km, 13.5km, 22km and 31km, with increasing elements of trail running; the longer you go, the more trail (and hills) you get to enjoy! The 6.6km is all pavement, the 13.5km; a little taste of trail, the 22km a full meal and the 31km includes the infamous Strawberry Hill for dessert!
The 2026 Wild Earth ‘Border Bolt’ will be the second round in the Trail Trips Triple Crown;…
