PRICING

The organisers of the Event, ‘Trail Trip & Events’, have public liability insurance cover. This does not include personal accident insurance for competitors. We recommend that you arrange your own personal accident insurance and ambulance cover before participating in any event to cover any unforeseen personal costs you may incur due to ambulance trips, medical expenses or time off work due to injuries sustained whilst participating in the Event.

In the event that the Event course is, in the opinion of the event organisers, unsafe (e.g. heavy rain, high winds, bushfires, "acts of god" etc), or at the direction of the QFRS, National Parks, Gold Coast City Council, Department of Health or in accordance with any Queensland Government directives, or any other relevant authority, organisers may be required to postpone or cancel the event.

Every attempt will be made to reschedule. Should a participant be unable to make the rescheduled date or no suitable date be available (due to venue unavailability, clashes with other events, landowner changes, etc); then participants affected will be offered a deferment valid for the following two years (less an admin fee of $25 - and you will still receive your event medal and gift for this year).

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are fit enough to complete the event and that you do not have any illness that will hinder your ability to complete the event. It is your responsibility to monitor your health and condition during the event and to withdraw from the event if you are no longer fit enough to continue.

At the time of registration, you will be required to read and agree to a Participant Waiver as part of the registration process.

The 25km Wild Earth ‘In the Raw’ Trail Run is a good one. It’s got a bit of everything; from lush green grass under your feet to creek crossings, long sections of flat to undulating terrain, punctuated by a terrific ascent, a steep but speedy downhill and some nice wide fire trail…. it ain’t easy but you’re not here for easy!!
If the 25km scares the pants off of you (assuming you were wearing them to begin with), then the now 15km Wild Earth ‘In the Raw’ Trail Run might be more your thing. It's still got a decent climb or two - but with the great descent to finish on; you’ll feel like a rock star flying to the finish!! There's no time limit on the 15km either - so there's no pressure to run fast (unless you're running with ‘friends’, in which case; it’s game on!).
We have two shorter events too! Whether you're new to trail, young or young at heart or simply prefer the shorter stuff; then we have got you covered with our 4km and 9km events. That's not to say you're missing out on a challenge or any beauty, with both courses having some spectacular sections of trail!

So these are the age categories being incorporated into the TRIPLE CROWN in 2026; our three-part trail series incorporating In the Raw, Border Bolt and Coastal High.

Results/awards at the individual events shall be awarded as your age on the day. For Triple Crown awards, the age shall be your age on the day of the final event in the Series;

75% refund if withdrawing before 4 weeks prior to event*

Note: Race Roster fees (registration site) and the cost of any personalised collateral (e.g. shirts, bibs) will also be deducted. In the case of personalised items, these will be mailed to you.

Transfers to different sub-event (change of distance) or another person: Follow the guideline below if you'd like to transfer entries to another person. Please note; the exchange of any funds remains between the two parties.

You no longer need to involve or request transfers from the Race Director - for transfers it is a do-it-yourself process. You will need to engage the Race DIrector to process any refunds.

The Venue

Toilets

Toilets will be available in the race precinct at ‘Raw Challenge’. Participants are encouraged to use these toilets before the race, as there will be NO TOILETS ON THE COURSE.

Parking and Bag Drop

No cars should park on Nerang/Murwillumbah Road inside. There is ample space inside the event precinct. Competitors and spectators should enter through Gate 1.

Note that there will be no left luggage facilities at the event precinct and you are advised to make your own arrangements for storing bags and other items.

Coffee!

There will be a coffee available on race morning and we are making arrangements for post-race food options and the bar will be operating. We will update you as these developments are locked in.

Event Village

We invite everyone to come out and enjoy the event! Feel free to bring along your favorite coffee, food offerings, and join in the fun with jumping castles, giant games, live music, and more! Please note that no dogs are allowed, as the property borders the National Park. We look forward to seeing you there!
