Reliable Mate Rate. The mate you can count on – maybe they don’t rush in, just entering when they’re good and ready and not leaving it to the last minute! (October 1 until midnight Friday October 31)
Late Mates Rate. We all have that friend that leaves things to the last minute – but it’s not too late to enter! (Saturday November 1 - until midnight Wednesday November 5)
Better late than never rate. We are happy to have you join in the fun - even now! (November 6 until race start Sunday November 9)

Of course, with our individual and relay elements, we’d love to see groups, clubs, gyms and schools, both local and from afar, take part in our Mateship Run! So you’re encouraged if you have a group of ten or more participants to reach out for a discount code and save!

Simply register your club, gym, parkrun or school with the race here and you can get a discount code to share with your members via the supplied e-poster that you can share via your emails and socials!

Mateship Relay (3 person teams ONLY)**

* Our unique 11.11km distance is acknowledging Remembrance Day itself; which commemorates the signing of the Armistice to end World War One at the 11th hour, on the 11th day of the 11th month. We will have a timing mat at the 10km point, a more traditional race distance, so you can compare your times with other races.

**Mateship Relay:

3 runners completing one leg each: 6.31km, 2.4km, 2.4km**

Team Divisions: All Male, All Female, Mixed

Relay runners accumulate the 11.11km by completing one of two 2.4km legs or the longer 6.31km. The 11.11km acknowledging Remembrance Day itself; and the 2.4km? Well, the fitness tests for the Australian Forces includes running 2.4km as part of their training! We think its a great combination to acknowledge the past and present effort by our Armed Forces troops.

75% refund if withdrawing before 4 weeks prior to event*

50% refund if withdrawing between 9days and 2days prior to event*
No refunds inside last 2 days.
Note: Race Roster fees (registration site) and any personalised collateral (e.g. shirts, bibs) will also be deducted. In the case of personalised items, these will be mailed to you.

Transfers to different sub-event (change of distance)or another person: Follow the guideline below if you'd like to transfer entries to another person. Please note; the exchange of any funds remains between the two parties.

The Venue

Toilets

The Currumbin RSL will be open to access bathrooms.

Access to the clubhouse will be via the creekside doors ONLY.

Parking

Parking will be available in the Club car park, the overflow car park immediately across the way and street parking - please be mindful of residents and keep noise to the minimum.

Food and Beverage

There will be coffee and cold drinks available from the Currumbin RSL, a small cafe offering and bacon & egg rolls. Full service will be available from 10am.

Event Village

There will be a jumping castle, kids activities and entertainers, commentators and a DJ to ensure a fun and colourful morning for all!

There will be a post race hydration station for the participants and guests as well.
